Hello there, I'm Alex Borulev.

After completing my BSc Economics degree at the London School of Economics (with an explicit focus on finance during my third year), I started my career as a petrochemical pricing specialist at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Finance, investing and economics have remained my passion, and I regularly wander around Bloomberg, Morningstar and SeekingAlpha.

I decided to create this website to share my learning journey of a fairly recently discovered interest in cryptocurrencies - a controversial but "mysterious" (or exciting) asset class. (To be completely honest, my first encounter with blockchains was during an interview linked with my internship, which sparked the idea for this blog.)

I am planning to share my findings and I hope that updating this website will help me to stay on track with my discoveries.
